Wanting To Replace Standard Hight Suspension

(1/3) > >>

blacknight:
I have a Disco 1996 300tdi auto and I am thinking of replacing the springs and dampers.

I do not want to lift it, just keep it standard hight.

It is currently my only vehicle so it does quite a bit of road miles. But, it also goes laning. It has no heavy duty bumpers, winches or other such add ons that may add wieght.

Anybody got any ideas on what set up to replace it with??

Thank - Nigel

Range Rover Blues:
Pro comp or Decarbo dampers are both a reasonable price, the ProComp have a lifetime warranty.

Bearmach or Britpart for springs, the supposed Police SPec red/whites I bought lifted RRR nearly 2" though, so be careful about heavy duty springs.

NeilWilson:
If you are after heavier duty springs, I think Britpart now do a set of heavy duty standard height springs.  I cant remember if they are handed though for the fronts.  I am planning on replacing mine as well, most likely with new standard duty height springs at the front & heavy duty at the back (either the Britpart or Land Rover ones) based on the amount of camping gear we will be lugging around this summer.  I am also planning on the pro-comp shocks.
