THATS SO UNFAIR.
Speaking as a 51 year old male named BEVERLEY don't give your child a "unisex" name and if you do don't send him to an all boys public school
Erik is a fine name and Lewis is my sons name so as you can guess I like that too.
If he is not happy when he gets older then he can always call him self Rik or Ricky or even Lewis.

Hi,
we have a Lauren & Jodie - twins, when i was pregnant we said we were going to call them Lucrecia and Jezebel - should have seen the reaction to those names!
bottom line is how does it sound with the surname - kids can be very cruel (i suffered greatly as a child due to my proper name - eleonora transmuted to jackanory for those who remember that, also cinders (cinderella), - i became the 3rd best fighter in the school and even no 1 & 2 would think twice before taking me on  )
hypocrite that i am - i get very cross if i find out the girls have been fighting
however - if you like the name, what does anybody elses thoughts matter - its your baby HAVE FUN :D
regards
ela

Well I think it is a good name :) Of course being the father of R'Vanneth and Leith I'd be a bit of a hypocrite if I said it wasn't <grin>
