bump start diesel?

quick question the cold has finished off my poor battery on the 90, just curious can you bump start a diesel like you can petrols  :?  astra gsi seats dont give the instant access to the battery like lanny seats do  :x  lol

I have done it in the past, got a feeling it's easier in low range.

cheers.... got jump lead on back of alternator and used a spare battery... worked a treat lol

me if i need to 2nd gear high range get her upto a nice speed whilst speeding up keep he glow plugs on  :wink:
and off she goes
