Just replaced all front and rear pads on my Disco. All new springs and pins , had to get extra(recently mentioned..why dont they come in with the pads??) cleaned out with brake cleaner spray and wire brushed all areas before re-fitting. Lots of copper grease on all surfaces , now good as new....just taking a bit of time and care ....does help!
As to the belts , maybe your tensioner is off centre a little bit? Does it give of a bit of a squeak as well? If so give me a call as i hace a suprising mod that will hopefully sort it all out for you!! Dont worry , it took me a new set of tensioner bearings and 3 belts before mine was sorted!!
My number is available through my e-mail at buzz973@hotmail.co.uk
Hope we can get you sorted??
