'Wind In The Willows'
« on: January 01, 2007, 12:43:18 »
BBC 1
18:20 - 20:00
Tonight

Ought to be worth watching?
The reviews say it sticks very closely to the original Kenneth Grahame story, with all the set pieces.

Whilst not being in any way a fan of 'Little Britain', I think Matt Lucas could play Toad quite well?

Admittedly Terry Jones did a good job in the previous 'live-action' film version (plus 'his' car was based on a Land Rover chassis & mechanicals :D )

And as for Bob Hoskins??
Well, we all know he can do comedy/fun.
Remember him in 'Who Framed Roger Rabbit?' as Eddie Valiant?
Of course, I know most of the guys out there remember it mainly for Jessica Rabbit

Then
There's;
"He's not The Messiah, he's a very naughty boy!!" at 21:00

Sadly, I'll be at work between 13:30 & 22:00 :(
(got video set for 'Willow's, but SWMBO is taping 'Dibley' for her parents  )

Defender 110Td5 'Heritage Gone, but not forgotten
Jaguar XKR; X88 JLT, also 'gone, but not forgotten'

Actually it's three, anyone that's watched the first series of Little Britain has seen them all and probably every one that's going to be made as well - very uninteresting :!:

No Otter either :x

The ending was a bit rubbish, unless it's a signal that they're going to make the (2nd) William Horwood sequel (which was 'Beyond')
