ChrisW:
Isn't yours angled up slightly Dyf?

Mine swivels all the way round but not sure what it will do when its actually on the motor

Range Rover Blues:

--- Quote from: "Wanderer" ---Make sure you clean the valve regularily or before going into water. I end up with bits of small twigs and bees and wasps gettign stuck and holding the valve open.
I thought mine was bu broke but on looking at a brand new one it didn't seem to seal as well as the old one. The box the part comes in is too small and folds the ends (lips) over so that they don't mate up properly.

--- End quote ---

The rubber should regain it's shape over time but if not try a little rubber grease (it's usually red) which has plasticiser in it. Smother the rubber in the grease and the plasticiser soaks in, rejuvenating very old rubber to as new condition.

strapping young lad:
hi chris

mine is angled but faces upwards a little

as i said in oringal post the intake pip is lower than the profile of the vehicle so you are quite restricted to where you can swivel the intake
