of interest does anyone know if sj410 starter motor is the same as the 413

geoff if this is for your conversion you dont want a 413 starter you need the thin vitara version  :D

yes mate a 413 will work but the throw out on it is very close and wont work for very long before it strips the gearing off it a vitara version has a bigger throw out i think its the mitzi version you need ur also have to grind off the block webbing were the starter sits so it can sit square on the adapter plate
