90,.................. as the disco will have rusted away

Saw the disco properly today. Chassis and body mounts are A1 !
wings are a bit iffy with a few rivets. N/S front door has a few dings and and small ding in sill. Nothing major and I will be adding sliders. It drives well and is very tidy inside and in engine bay. It had a 90 transfer box fitted with 18K miles on and gearbox too with 60K. rear axle is replacement as well so pretty uptogether.
I will be polybushing, new springs/shocks. cranked arms etc so not worried about that.
I am thinking of selling the rangie as disco is newer shape .
The 90 is nice but I am doing more events than I thought so its a bit dear to run. I never planned on using it as much but since the suspension rebuild I have used it loads and its a bit much. I am also a bit cramped on a full days laning/playing . I would also like to be able to take the wife and daughter so the disco is a winner there.
I have pretty much made up my mind to swop but any more ideas/views appreciated.

Think it comes down to future values really-like has been allready said the 90 wont loose a penny in the coming few years, but Disco prices have dropped like a lead parachute recently and are now at bangerprice levels, also you have the dreaded rust probs-though not a real prob for you -doing your own welding except time welding is time not playing  , you seem to have made your mind up allready-good luck with whatever you decide,

How come the 90 wont lose a penny in years to come ?
Surely it is just as likely to rust etc. I have waxoiled the chassis and bulkhead etc is good but it wont last forever ?
I understand the 90s hold their value but it must lose some in the furure as with any car surely ??
