Expecting Too Much??

I had a full size inercooler fitted to the 90 (300Tdi).

They also tweeked the fuel pump and turbo.

Have also got silicon hoses and a K&N filter.

Result....?

Not much really.

It certainly feels a little bit stronger in the mid-range but nothing special really.

Was I expecting too much or might there be an underlying problem with the engine?

try goin up a hill you struggled doing before in 3rd, itll go all the way without loosing steam now  :wink:
put it this way,
mine got 35 inch simex on, couldnt keep up with a std 300disco before intercooler
after intercooler 300tdi disco cant keep up with me  :wink:
u sure they done the pump rite ?
if they have it should smoke like a trooper  :lol:

o and mine got a shiney new turbo on aswel as ive got a tendancy of experimenting with them  :oops:  got through 3 now  :roll:
a new turbo with plenty of blow always helps  :lol:

fair point, it won't have a test off-road until the New Year.

I have 35 inch Simex's too so it will be good to chat again after it's first off-road session.

Not sure about the level of crap out the back as it was dark when I collected it this afternoon.
