60 QUID LIGHTER !

Came out to go to work this afternoon and the Mav wouldnt start  :( .  The battery was just about able to turn the engine over so being a member of the AA I gave them a ring to request assitance. My first call to them was at 2:40 and they told me that someone would be with me before 4 pm. At 4:10 I rang them again to see where their guy was and I was told to give him another 10 minutes and then ring back :evil: .  In the meantime, I popped around to the local accessory shop and bought a new battery as I need the Mav for work each day. The battery was £70 but the guys in the shop let me have it for £60. The AA man turned up at 4:30 and got the Mav going with a portable battery booster. I got the Mav to work and changed the battery so lets hope that the wallet doesnt get any lighter until after Christmas at the very least. Just what I needed just before Santa comes !!!!!!!!!!!
