personally a manual diesel...
but if a you want a v8, get a manual!

Buy a diesel you can make it run under water with a length of drain pipe, loads of grunt and reasonable economy

Range Rover Blues:
Buy a V8 and gas it. Go Auto, I myself am being drawn to the dark side :wink:
