NO BRAKES!!!
baz2236:
Got in my SJ this morning after de-icing the inside and the outside got going down the road came to a junction and realized I had no brakes luckily nothing was coming before getting to the next junction i pumped the brake and the pedal felt alright but when it comes to stopping again i have to put my pedal to nearly the floor for the brakes to work. A few weeks ago i replaced my calipers and bled all my brake and they have been working fine. I went out in it again this evening and its the same thing when the engine is running if i pump the brake and hold my foot down on it, it doesn't go to the floor. Has anyone got any ideas what is going on. if it helps this morning when i started my brake was frozen on.

When the cylinder pops is it repairable or not

Depend if you mean slave or master cylinder. mast I would like to say that you could use it if it pops out but the slave sylinders just clean up replace and adjust brake shoes. and blead brakes you did not say if the vehicle had been left sitting for a while as this may have been an air pocket in one place in the system causing lack of braking action.
