P38 seat belt warning

(1/2) > >>

v8kenny:
Anyone know if there is a way to shut up the audible warning on start up that tells you to put your seat belt on ? (other than put the belt on before someone says it   )
Following on from my last thread re air suspension I changed the teflon piston ring today and that has made a huge difference to the speed of the suspension - still not sure about a leak though as it hasn't stopped raining long enough to go and crawl underneath yet
33 days in a row and counting - no water shortage here !

Range Rover Blues:
Think I might have to invest in a new teflon thingy myself soon but on the classic you have to open the box beneath the car too.

Dead easy on the P38 - only fiddly bit is prising off the retaining ring round the seal without damaging ring/piston
Well worth doing IMHO

Well that was easy ! - traced two wires going to seatbelt stalk, followed them back to the centre consul and undid the white connector - job done
Wish everything was that easy !

ooh cool, been wondering the same thing. BEEPBEEPBEEPBEEPBEEPBEEPBEEPBEEPBEEPBEEP every time i just want to move the car does my head in. Sounds kinda like a tube door, i half expect a robot voice to blurt out "please mind the gap between the truck and ground" when i step out
