--- Quote from: "TD90" ---my wheel bearings are fine, (bar one) would that be it? surely not because of one small wheel bearing?
--- End quote ---

I guess it would depend on how much play there is in the bearing, ive had a pretty shot bearing before but not had this problem before!

Any other ideas guys?!

extreme90:
ill be interested in this as mine just started doing that over the last week, but aint had a looksy yet
1st press just a little bit at end of travle
2nd press through the windscreen
will have a look t morra if get time
as for now
i can only think of air in system ( somehow   ...but is a landy)
or master cyl seals on way out.....but the pedal isnt creeping down, so that eliminated a leak anywhere and the master cyl seals
danny

Xtremeteam:
if ur running a disc rear axle i bet its the wheelbearings,

mine did the same but didnt have any play if u jacked the wheel up n checked for play, pulled the shaft out it & it was all over the shop   4 new wheel bearings & 2 stub axles later i had brakes again

extreme90:
now ino my fronts were running in mud last time i had a hub off
maily due to a broken shaft n i was rolling around in mud fixing it
1st port of call front bearings, she has got a nasy habbit l8ly of veering off to the left on her own
and that when it all started with the breaks
danny

TDi90:
yeh, well i have drum rear brakes...
but on the pass. side rear the bearing is not too clever...
