SJ410 transfer box Stuck

Hi can anybody help I was out today laning after pulling a land rover backwards for a while I took my SJ out of 4L and went to put it in 2wd i got the transfer box in to neutrul, Now it is stuck it moves a little left and right but thats it, Someone suggested something about a washer that wear. any more light on that subject would be handy where would i get one of those washers from.

The box is a doddle to remove, I would suggest that until you've done that anything posted is "could be" and useless..... should take 20 mins or to remove then with it all visible you'l have a better idear.....

Hi i have taken the lever off and the notches we not lined up at all i lined them up but now i need the new wahser as mine is about 2mm thing looking at the pictures it should be a lot thicker then that. does any one know where to get one of these washers from?
