soft dash intro March 94 with 300 tdi,
Total production (all engines etc.)for 1994 was 12,091 (Jan-Dec)
1995 was 4192 and 393 in 1996
This is from from the book- Range rover The first generation, James Taylor- Nick Dimbleby

Chassis no should Start SA (Rover Group) L (Land rover) LH (Range Rover) A (100" Wheelbase) M (4 Door) F (2.5 Tdi) 3 (RHD Auto) L (1994)or M (1995) A (Solihul) then 6 numbers
They dont give specific numbers but the Heritage Centre might?

Hope this makes a start in your search

(happy aint I?? )
Very pleased so far - even managed to upset a Isuzu trooper driver this morning - one of those that like to sit about 2" from the rear bumper - sat at the lights , dropped suspension and floored it...totally confused the Isuzu driver and left him for dead ;) must admit for a diesel auto it certainly picks its skirts up and flies ;)
and have now started the Bio diesel transformatioon, been and put 30 litres in today, so now a GREEN 4x4

I had one of those moments today, driving up the M1 to Wakefield and I'm in the middle lane, some young thing in her Mini decided I wasn't going fast enough for her so pulled out to go past, almost got alongside before the steep gradient got the better of her ikle car and she dropped back.  Still insisted on carving in front of me when the top of the hill was a recent memory and gravity took a helping hand.

I had to laugh to myself, I was towing a MkI Capri and BJ trailer at the time :D
