Pest control of this nature is carried out everyday in various forms.

Its a shame its been publicised before it takes place as i'm sure there'll be a load of do-gooders just waiting to stop the pest controller doing his job.

Feral pigeons carry dozens of diseases harmful to humans so when their numbers are encouraged by people that insist on feeding them they need to be culled.
