range rover wont start

help please .my rr wont start.checked plugs ,leads coil ,petrol everything ,but it still wont start .full battery and booster pack still dead.checked the starter getting 12 volts there but wont turn over.if i take a live from the battery straight to the starter it will fire up and run sweet .any advice would be helpful guys its doin my head in now

starter relay has gone, I had same prob about 1 year ago. Want year is it?

3.5v8 on a g plate .where is it .mr haynes has it all over place .any clues :?:

Range Rover Blues:
Probably behind the washer bottle or in the passenger footwell.

blueosis1:
checked the relay ,seems o k . think the gearbox inhibitor switch is next on the list.
