Head Lights dual Shining

<< < (3/4) > >>

Range Rover Blues:
Actually a lot of competition cars use both filaments together.  What does shorten the life of a Halogen bulb is running it at too low a voltage.
However given the weakness of the wiring system behind the lamps I'd suggest a set of spots too, you can point them where you want which is another advantage.

They may look small but they sure make a difference

By mounting them into the grill they are better protected than having 2 large ones sticking out.

PS - Forgot how to put pictures in my posts. :?   ANY help?

defuzz:

Thanks I got them as a set of 4 off ebay (Can't find the seller)  I originally had them mounted  on my light bar on my defender.

They are oval shaped 55W 3.5 inch x 3 inch.

After a quick butcher with the Dremel they fit like a glove.

Trying to decide wether to put the other 2 lights in the grill as well. :P

Cheers  Taz

I found that +30% bulbs from Halfords, for about a tenner a set, made all the difference.
