Air Box Placement

I have got my hands on a Air Filter box from a 90 for my Series 3. After chopping off those stupid legs I was wondering if anyone had some tips on how to fit it into the engine bay, I was thinking about mounting it horizontally across where the old filter was but I'm not too confident about the clearance from the Injection pump. Any pictures of fitted ones would be nice to see.   :D
