Why?
For the price, the ones I have are great, sure they get clogged with mud but they all do that, it's the design.
The 50mm thick ones don't bent half as much as the 38mm ones and there isn't that much extra weight. I can easily lift both of mine at the same time (when not filled with mud!) and they have the gripper material embedded into one side.
Best of all, I can nearly get three pairs for the same price as the one set  you've been looking at.  :wink:

The guy I talked to, I must admit had the 38mm ones, but he reckoned that they weren't big enough, they flexed too much and sank into the mud and made the gripper material totally useless.

Always open to ideas and thoughts though :wink:

I can't remember who I got them from in the end but it took about 3 weeks of bidding on different sets of 1225x300x50mm before I got them for a price that I was happy to pay (£35) and then it came as a second chance offer.

So if you want a set then just take your time.  :wink:
