saw 4 G4 freelanders (old shape) on a transporter the other day -  all were unreg'd and had the G4 stickers on the door

Not if they have any sense.  The G4's are worth more in their challenge spec these days.

There's also an ex Challenge DIII listed at Caffyns' Lewes for a shade under £30k

The genuine G4 Team Freelanders were all 5 Door's but they did use 3 Doors during team selections and for a special event stage on the beach in Rio so it could be one of them.  If it is then it lacks the winch, snorkel, roofrack and underbody protection so is really just a lookalike.

There is a genuine G4 Freelander and a G4 RRS on eBay Classifieds at the moment at a Chesterfield LR Dealer.

I've been working at an old American Airforce Base recently.
All the Landrover Press and Demos Go through the workshops i've been working in.
The G4s go through "Smart" repair for any bodywork that needs attention then they're serviced and then go to Valet before dispatch to the dealers.
