Bridgestone vs. BF Goodrich
SnakeLogic:
Looking for a good M/T tyre that will be well mannered on the road as a daily use tyre. I've read several online reviews, but I value the Mud Club members opinions. I'm obviously most interested in on-road manners as well as mud traction. Wet pavement and snow info would also be helpful.
I don't really expect to do any rock crawling, so that's not an issue.
Cheers!
Grumpy:
I use BFG MTs and have had no problems with them excelent in mud and good on road even under heavy braking
TDi90:
i run em too, BFG MT and they are a QUALITY tyre both on road and off.
muddyweb:
I've not used the Bridgestone so can't give you a comparison, but I've always been a fan of the BFG M/T
Excellent road manners, not too noisy, great all-round performance off road.
From a looked-after set of BFGs you can realistically expect over 30K-40K miles on the vehicle too. Some people are of the opinion that at this mileage they lose their off-road capability, and whilst it will decline, they'll still outperform a lot of the competition.
Range Rover Blues:
I'm dissapointed with BFG muds, I had Machos on before which I understand to be a copy of the Yokahama Geolander or something. Tnere are better tyres out there but none wil be the best in every situation.
