Engine Oil?????

:?: Reet, collecting my first landrover tomorrow night, obviously want to give it a full service asap, Can anyone recommend/not recommend an appropriate engine oil.

Working in the haulage industry, I am able to get fully synthetic oil for my Disco.

I just changed the oil twice to start with as a method of flushing it out, then changed the filter and replace with nice fresh oil. And she seems to run perfectly on it ( as did my last one!!)

i told him that i use millers xd but its rocking horse to find if your normal supplier is sold out

Try the difflock site they recomend and sell a semi 10/40 at £8-50 +vat. a very good price.
