There's a mutant vs human war in the 3rd, when a 'cure' is manufactured.
Plus there's new (to the films anyway) mutants in it.
Beast, Callisto, Shadowcat (Kitty), Collosus gets a bigger role

'The Danger Room' features strongly (as do the Sentinels briefly)

There's still the rumours of a Wolverine film coming out as a prequel/sequel.

been meaning to get the box set... but been spending my money on the landies instead. the wolverine sequal / prequal sounds like a good idea. anything firm yet or just a wet dream?
