have you checked your uj's they may well have just been warn and the lift is probably just showing that more, thats what happened to mine

The drumming noise isn't likely to be your CV joints, its probably the propshaft.  By doing a 3" lift you've increased the drive angles.  Bad news is the cost of the new prop shaft..... I got mine from Scorpion but there have been numerous posts on here telling where to get them cheaper.  Its a double cardon propshaft you need.  The rear would probably benefit from one with an increased yoke angle if your planning on exploring the new articulation you now have available.

I'm running a solid prop from a V8 disco (thinner diameter) and its good but still has some vibration on over run.
A double cardon prop is on my shopping list too
 8)
