Fuel Gauge

<< < (2/3) > >>

Miniman:
Thats 4x4s for ya.....

Dont rush off today and do it. Wait till ya get someone else on as I may be wrong but the speedo is normaly the cable......unless some landy tec head has something to tell ya....

JD LWB:
The speedo sounds like the cable to me too.  They always do that when the cable is getting old and has twisted slightly (it can't turn smoothly and so jumps, which causes the needle to bounce).  A nice easy fix. :D

The fuel gauge problem, I'd be interested in (I have the same problem).

TDi90:
i have the same problem too...

Miniman:
Right well the low fuel light is built into the tank sender unit. So which one of you is rich go out and buy a new sender unit and fit that. I have a B reg 90 and I dont have a fuel light at all but then I have not checked any bulbs.....and if it was fixed it would be on all the time anyway....lol

bombx3:
i had the same fuel problem for 2 years . But it righted its self last year and has never faulted since
