winch Wiring
Bulli:
warn do an isolator set up. they provide a heavy duty solenoid and all the required wiring. i have the solenoid up under the bonnet and find it really good in operation, you cannot operate the winch without engaging it.
You should set anything up so the default is in the off position.

I have a brand new solenoid if any one wants it £8 inc P+P, its a standard solenoid from a Come up winch, its ideal for an Isolating solenoid.
Its the very last of my winch parts, end of an era :cry:

I'll take that off you mate as it's a good idea. I have a removable winch that can go front or rear (needs a front towball yet) but I've tried diconnecting it quick and it's a faff, so I fitted an isolator just under the front of the bonnet.

Thanks for all the help you have offered..I have wired it up via the cut off switch like you all said, I even went one better and put in a second battery for more juice. You have gota love this website...Lots of helpful people who really enjoy helping out others for nowt in return except a thankyou....LONG LIVE MC I say.
