do you want width (thus greater footprint over the area) or bite (narrower tyre with more pressure over the area)??

I have got a 1994 v8 disco with a 2inch lift, anyone no the best tyre size to put on it?? (well what will fit with no chopping). Also anyone know what kind of milage you get out of the bf goodrich ATs and the bf goodrich MTs, I can't decide which ones to go for, Cheers rob

ive got a set of 286/75/16 BFG muds which were run on a td5 defender driven hard most of the time. towing too. theyve done 60,000 miles and are only half worn at most.
id recommend them to anyone. great in the dry and wet!

I've looked in all the sources I can think of and not managed to find this, so can anyone here help? I'm trying to find either the "official" tyre speed rating for a 300 TDI Disco or if there isn't one an official top speed?
Need to know as I fancy a set of Insa Turbo Saharas next time and while I have no intention of doing 106mph (they're Q-rated) I know insurers can be awkward if you don't fit the correct rating.

Right..... Standard discovery..... 2" lift comming at somepoint in the near future.... whats the max size I can go for?? Bearing in mind Camel Cut is not an option at this time??
