Porth Dinllaen

(1/2) > >>

Manicminer:
On Sunday the 29th I took the family for a drive and ended up in Porth Dinllaen near Nefyn on the Lleyn Peninsula.

We saw this grey seal

The water must have been cold

winchman:
Been there my self, its fab midday in the middle of July and only a dozen or so vehicles there.
Very clean beach and  a credit to the locals.
Only down side it could do with some nice bogs

mike142sl:
I used to run the activities for a Crusader Camp there. The the pub (Ty Cock) still on the beach?

winchman:
When I was about 12 or 13 I went camping for a week at Criccieth, we went out one evening for a walk and ended up at this pub on the beach it was fab, finally tracked it down to PorthDinella, been back to the beach but will go to the pub next time.
Can you drive along the beach to it?

Manicminer:
Here's a few more pics.

This is on the Morfa Nefyn side of the beach.
