--- Quote from: "alankennedy10" ---please take extencive phottos of product and before during and after including any areas you need to cut.

reason is i'm most interested in this lift kit myself and would find this of great help to me my thanks in advance.

I am terrible at remembering to take notes/pictures while doing a job on a car! Quite apart from getting my SLR grubby! The kit is supplied with extensive instructions ..... reams of it actually! And it looks reasonably straight forward to fit.
If you fit the 40mm lift, I understand that no cutting is required. It's only the 50mm version that needs a little surgery.

Think it is fine with 40mm lift but my V6 (and believe it is faily common) had a banging noise prior to fitting lift that nobody could diagnose...only occured when dropping down off somthing and we noticed when fitting lift this was probably what was causing it and when we cut this bit it and fitted lift it sorted the problem out.

That's interesting. Ours makes a severe bang on rebound. Like if you hit a speed bump a bit too quickly and it bangs as it drops off the other side. I assumed it was the top strut mounting bush bottoming out.

Doobreydog:
That sounds like it ...had 3 """experts""" tell me there was nothing wrong as they would take car in jack it up look under not find anything then test drive it without being able to replicate....car would settle back oto suspension overnight and start the noise again...Add a few people and noise goes away completely probably cause car does not have same room for travel....fitting lift and cutting slightly has stopped bang completely. :D
