Hello to one and all
  Can anyone suggest why on start up i get a lot of vibration,it feels like it is coming from the front prop up through the gear box+tranny(which are working fine).Once in motion vibration reduced to a pulsing/jerky feel noticable when i slow down.
In the last year the front axle has been rebuit,recently the tyres were rebalanced no problems until two weeks ago it is becoming progressively worse.
j reg 200 tdi not modified.

have you checked your engine mountings ?

check your propshaft ujs and balancing.and the tightness of the flange on the transferbox.

Thank you guys, i will check the flange and uj-s today as the vibration occurs as soon as i start her up and seems very localised ie coming up through the gear box and tranny i thing it may be uj-s apart from feeling for too much play what should i be looking for?

If vibration is present whilst stationary, doesn't it exclude props...?   :shock:
