Rover 220 CV gaiter question
« on: October 17, 2006, 17:16:17 »
Just changing the brake pads on the wife's 1997 Rover 220 and I notice the CV gaiter on the nearside front wheel has split, spraying lots of grease everywhere.

I'm inclined to leave it for her to sort out next week, but I need to use it for a couple of hundred miles this weekend.  Am I likely to do it any harm?

Thanks, David

If it's not perished you can clean it up and superglue it together.
