land cruiser service interval

<< < (2/2)

rollazuki:
depends. on a UK model Id guess it'd be on 6k intervals. the earlier ones were on 6, slightly later on 9, then new models inc d4d motors on 10k intervals.
The early 6k intervals went A,B,C services a=small, C=major, and the nines went  A,A,B  with B=major service.

In the dealership we rely on the service book supplied with the vehicle to determine, as its a bit of a grey area.

My guess(since the motors are the same) is that 9k, or 12 months is more than adequate

Cal:
Cheers Rollazuki.

We guessed it would prob be quite a short interval cos of the age of the vehicle.

My mate does all the servicing himself so think he will do it plenty often.

Am seriously impressed with it, 16 years old and everything works on it!!

And as for the engine - what a lump - it's awesome!  8)

andyw:
My Autdata disc says every 10,000 km so 6,0000 miles is correct, and all odd numbers ie 10-30-50 thousand miles it gives a time of 1hr to do, evens take 2.5-2.8 hrs.

Ja1983:
I generally do an oil change every 6*, and full filters at 12* - (*Either thousand miles or months, whichevers first)

If its been shown tarmac less than its been shown owt else i`d keep an eye on things, and change filters/regrease more frequently

....then again its a quality jap motor, so would probly still be running fine on the stuff the factory put in first time round ;)

**Awaits anti-jap reply**
