sender Unit

Hi all im new to this forum and have a Discovery 200tdi Kreg .

The fuel gauge is reading empty at all times with light on , at first it was playing up now nothing .

is the sender unit faulty or ??

any help would be grateful

scorpio:
that usually siginfies a bad or broken earth wire to the sender they are under the motor at the back.
