OK so my Bandit is on HP - I have 12 months left on it, but as I dont ride it as much as i'd like - and other reasons that i dont wish to go into, how do i stand about either selling it and paying the hp off - or selling it back to the hp company -or supplying dealer (if possible).

if you sell to a dealer as part ex they will sort it out for you, had the same with a car we got on HP, but selling private you have 2 options, don't say anything when you sell and then just pay it off, get a release figure from them before hand, or try to pay it off 1st with a small loan that you pay back on completion of the sale.

I'd get rid soon, heard they can corrode away in less than 12months.... :lol:

Contact the finance company and they will advise you, get it in righting
then you know exactly where you stand

I wouldnt sell it and keep quiet.  If for what ever reason you dont pay one month the new owner can lose his pride and joy!  Get a loan and pay it off, sell it privately.  Ive never had much dealings with bike dealers but its gotta be the same as cars.  No dealer will ever give you as much as you would get privately.  Its worth the extra effort.
