Hi guys,hope someone can help.
I bought one of those centre binacles with the altitude ,land meter , and compass in them from a shogun and would like to fit it to my range rover.
Ive had it sat around for about a year so i decided to have a go to see if i could get it working.
I have managed to get it lit up but the W-N-E bit flashes and i cant seem to get it to work.Pressed the buttons held them in and alsorts.Is there a test procedure or set up to do when they are first wired up ?
Also is there supposed to be a clock there or something ?

If anyone has or knows the wiring for one of these could you please let me know.So far i have discovered the following :

Orange +
Brown -
Grey,Inside temp sensor wire
Blue, outside temp sensor wire
black,illumination when lights are on (+)

and thats it.

to set it you press the set up button and drive round in a circle, car park best for this, try both ways.

hi thanks for the reply.
I tried that but had it connected to a battery.I went dizzy going round and round and round for ages in my kitchen.
Is there a seporate sensor for it ?
I pressed the button with the S on it,and the little pointer just scans left to right.

Mutz:
Yes there is a sensor, it was the little box inbetween the pod and the window.
Wont work without it.

oh right.Do you know where i can get one from ?
I could do with a wiring diagram for this,got it to light up and that,need the out and inside temp senders also.
