Dirt/Gravel tracks
Evilgoat:
Anyone know of any high seep dirt or gravel courses that are open to the public or sites that run such a track. Wanted to put an event together but the site I use arent happy about untrained/unproven cars.
Have thought about asking the MOD about the tracks on the plains (not the greenlanes, the actualy tracks. Trouble is we are talking about 50 mph instead of the usual 15
V8MoneyPit:
You could talk to the Forestry Commission. Obviously they let forest tracks get used for rallying. I would imagine anyone will require full marshal and medical cover though.
If you can get a licence from the MSA you would be covered by their insurance as it's a motorsport event. But, once again, you would need to meet all their safety requirements.
Evilgoat:
MSA is one route. And I hadnt thought of forestry comission.
crazymac:
Are there any rally schools near you? they may allow access.
I had a blast up at the Forest Experience in mid wales, great fun :)
waveydavey:
See if there are any rallying clubs in the area, they might know something.
What a shame about the 40mph limit in the forest, that would be ideal.
