Suspension lift in pictures.

(1/1)

zacspeed:
My colleague & general all-round top bloke Jeff Harrison went to work on my Vit today, I thought I'd show you the results:

First, he removed the bolts on the suspension strut

Then squeezed the spring together

Then lowered the arm assembly

Once the spring extenders are in, attached the strut spacers

Re-attached the bolts

Time to get mediaeval on it's ass!

Oops

Lose some of the front bumper

Voila! Instant rust removal

The end result

There's still a bit of work to do with the front arches & wheel wells to tidy them up, & we'll probably trim up the rears a little too.

M19 ROO:
u gonna get some kinda arch extension to cover the wheels?

otherwise lookin good fella

Yeah, I got some rubber strip lined up, just need to fold a lip into the edge & fix to that. I don't think PC Plod will turn a blind eye to that much exposed tyre.
Should be attaching the rear damper extenders today, as it still sits on the original legnth dampers.

 :)

V8MoneyPit:
Woohoo!

But that front tyre is the wrong way round, isn't it?
