Suspension lift in pictures.

My colleague & general all-round top bloke Jeff Harrison went to work on my Vit today, I thought I'd show you the results:

First, he removed the bolts on the suspension strut


Then squeezed the spring together


Then lowered the arm assembly


Once the spring extenders are in, attached the strut spacers


Re-attached the bolts


Time to get mediaeval on it's ass!


Oops


Lose some of the front bumper


Voila! Instant rust removal


The end result


There's still a bit of work to do with the front arches & wheel wells to tidy them up, & we'll probably trim up the rears a little too.

Yeah, I got some rubber strip lined up, just need to fold a lip into the edge & fix to that. I don't think PC Plod will turn a blind eye to that much exposed tyre.
Should be attaching the rear damper extenders today, as it still sits on the original legnth dampers.

 :)

But that front tyre is the wrong way round, isn't it?
