Power Steering

(1/2) > >>

strapping young lad:
go on sock it to me

how hard/expensive to swap the power steering box?

price is good too and labour time.. (might nick a mate to do it for us)

matthew:
No idea, it depends how easily things come undone.

What makes you think it needs changing?

Andy.:
His arms are aching

Not enough beer drinking Dyf that'll build up your arms

muddyweb:
A recon box will be around the 150-180 quid mark

The hardest part about the swap is getting the drop arm off, this can be a real PITA.

A couple of hours end-to-end is usual, but they can turn into a nightmare due to the prepensity of drop arms and ball joints to stick.

strapping young lad:
paddocks do the box inc drop arm for 20 quid more than one without

presume its not worth stressing to get the arm out of the old box for 20 quid is it?
