Disco 1 seat base (3 door tilting seat)

hello, the base of my dirver's seat is pretty rotten especially wher it is connected to the floor.  as far as I ca tell the floor itself is sound though.

I there fore need to replace it....

firstly, does anyone want to sell me a cheap but solid seat base?  If its local enough to collect I'll buy the seat too but if its got to be posted I can only afford the base if you're willing to split.

second, does anyone know if its possible to get a new base unit or would I have to buy the whole shebang?

third, anyone fabricated their own?

I'll post some pics soon so you can see where the problem is.

Maybe you have a secondary problem, is the floor wet ? theres a seam on the floor there, is it leaking ? does it have air con ? is the evaporator drains connected or leaking ?  

If you get water under thoses seats it just stays there.

unfortunately none of the local scrappies have discos in, I guess the bits are too valuable!!

wouldnt say that,see discos being scrapped at a £1k value right down to £300 for a disco that had T&T,depends who's buying & whos selling,most scraooies dont know what they are worth
