2.0L V6 Vitara advise

<< < (2/4) > >>

skids:
Right got the vit, now got to convince the better half it needs m/t tyres, for a bit of laning with the kids:wink:

What size can i get away with without doing a suspension lift?

I need to do the mods in stages, until she says your not doing that to my vit go and get a another one to play with :)

generation-x:
for cheap simple lifts get in touch with dave jones @ http://www.bits4vits.com
he does a subtle lift the wife wont notice :troll:

skids:
Yeh i have seen and read about the bits he does, they look good.
I was looking at just getting some tyres on first to give a extra bit of ground clearance, and go from there.

Damon:
It's a false economy buying tyres first.  Get it lifted, then buy tyres rather than buying 28"/29" tyres, then lifting it and wishing you'd bought bigger tyres :)

MadMacs:
Let me know how you get on. I have had a V6 for 2 years and have just taken it off road for the first time. I've been looking into a few mods. I got a 2" lift  kit from Rhino Rays for £360 including postage which comprised of 4 springs, 2 shocks and some othe bits and bobs (not come yet). I got Colway 215 65 16 MTs for £250 for 5 fitted & balanced from John Craddock in Cannock.
