This is the magic of ECU knowledge, ODB 2 readers can be used to get fault codes from TD5 ECU's, anybody got one and tried it? did jimbo buy one, (disco2 forum).
Any thoughts or experiances with these devices could be helpful to many.

I was going to borrow a OBDII diagnostic box from a mate just to see what it gave out. You can get them from the US off ebay for less than £100
