Eric Clapton did an ace version of that one.  I think its a traditional song (no-one knows who wrote it).

I like the idea of 'Always look on the bright side' as an intro.

and Eric Claptons' 'Edge of Darkness', an instrumental masterpiece as loud as possible so that when it kicks in it may even revive me!
