worst acident u had as a kid

my uncle at about age 13 sledding down a snow covered hill on a plastic sack didnt notice till he got to the bottom he had gone over a nail sticking out of a piece of wood which opened his leg up from the back of his knee to his backside :shock:  my dad said the red trail he left down the hill was amazing

suddenly left my push bike at about 25mph at the age of 11

5 stiches in head / damaged knee that went 'bad' - all green n yucky !!

Still got the scars now!


But he luckies escape I had - about 8 yo - fell out of the top of my dad's barn onto the floor - landed on my feet, then very quickly afterwards my ass. Knees came up n spread my nose all over my face !

Other than nose-bleed, I lived to tell the tale - fall must have been 20 or 30 ft - very lucky

i have to say, im almost crying with laughter at some of the ways that the posts are typed in this  :lol: no doubt i'll stop when i remember something stupid that i did!  :D  :oops:

About 17 - 18 years ago I went to fell a hardwood for my father. It was on a hump about 8 feet higher than the rest of the field.
I did all the required cuts with the chainsaw and had a felling bar with me.
I placed the felling bar in the backcut and lifted it to push the tree over. I placed my other hand on the trunk of the tree. As the tree was going over a little branch went into the glove where you put your hand in and twisted it.
The tree was going over and I couldn't free the glove. The further the tree was going the more it twisted the glove, and the tighter it got.
All of a sudden the tree just yanked me off my feet and took me with it as it fell gracefully in an arc off it's vantage point. The tree hit the ground and then the branches forced the trunk up into the air as I was coming down. It hit me on my chin and swept me into the air. At this point my wrist was still trapped to the branch, so I was thrown through the air in a semicircle. My body being swung like this untwisted the glove and off I went with the wind howling in my ears and I landed on my feet about 25 ft away facing where I had just come from.

It broke my jaw and the wrist.

last yeah when i was 17 i fell out my bike knocking myself out while riding my BMX over a 7ft high jump with a 13ft gap brakes failing and going off the edge of the ramp bike flys out from underneath me and as i flip in the air and land on my head and neck knocking my self out cold for 10 mins (as my mates said)

but i got back up brushed my self off and doing it again but not falling off this time :D
