Series III 24v FFR Not Charging...

Thanks for the replies! - sorry didn't get back sooner - stuck at work yesterday.
I will have a more detailled look today and try those suggestions - and also try and get some pics for you. (There are a few atttached to the 'First Mil' post in June which are of the same vehicle.)

A HUGE thank you to Hobbit - I think we're A-OK again!
I cleaned the large plug coming off the alternator and the little red warning light is no more! I didn't get a chance to take her for a proper drive to check it out thoroughly but I now appear to be the proud owner of a happy Landy!

No probs, this is a fault that has cured more charging faults (mainly on 12v spade connectors) alternators than anything.
Always my first port of call, although on the ffr not has common, the plugs used to have a seal in them to keep the moisture out, going back 20 odd years since I played with ffr, but glad you got it right, until the next problem raises its ugly head :wink: :lol:
