:) Make sure you check the chassis especialy above rear axle if it's covered in goo etc.. wonder what they are hiding!! :?

You can get a newer shape 3.1TD for £2000 or less.
With a trailer(or without), it out pulls a TD5 Disco on the hills and it seems it still has a slight edge on the newer TDV6 (up to 70mph, then the different gearings let the Disco catch up) :wink:

The older style have very thin metal and prone to rust. Check the front prop.

as i said its a G reg, 3 door - looks ok, but has tin worm in rear door, and side sills.. apart from that i dont know anything else about it - guy selling it is stil using it - so its a runner...interior looks like a dog lives in it too!!!

The engines are great. :D  The chassis's are something else. :(  Nice car to drive though. Smooth gearbox and light clutch.  Got a 2.8 turbo in my 90, with an Alli Sport intercooler. Goes like stink and pulls like a train. :D
