ebay question

I have had a couple of items I have sold with the "advertised elsewhere", and both of them were pulled early because they were brought elsewhere - it is NOT always used for dubious means.

I am the same. I put stuff in the local paper and if a vehicle then a sign in the car and also put in on ebay. If I get genuine interest I mention its on ebay . If someone makes an offer at what I want I try to put them off till auction ends but if you have a genuine offer at the price you want you would mad to turn it down.
I put item is advertised elsewhere and can be removed at ANY time even with bids.
I have had several wasters on ebay so always leave my options open.
In real terms ebay is not the same as an auction house as ebay dont care about messers leaving bad feedback and if they ban someone they just re-register with a new name. My local auction house is very good and really looks out for sellers and buyers alike.

people on ebay who arent telling the whole truth but arent lying either.

ive bought something worth 350 quid today, but not for me, and wasnt my money so im technically not losing out but its my ebay account and hence my feedback which will be affected..

anyway the person selling said they werent going to post until the money is cleared??? (paypal is more or less instant between accounts..!)

so i asked for clarification and they said they want their money in their BANK ACCOUNT first before posting!  cheeky feckers.

so i asked why.. (this is the good bit)

they are selling for someone else and that someone else wants their money before they post.

so by leaving this information out of the ad, they ensured a sale but now ive got to wait a bloody week!

really fecks me off it has  :evil:

my feedback wont be negative but it wont be complementary!
