1 inch lift
needbeer:
hi im thinking of lifting my disco by an inch or so could i get a way with useing my old shocks and front prop ? and leaving the antiroll bars on can any one help thanks shaun
Guardian.:
yes thats all ok, if your only lifting 1 or 2 inches, although you may find things such as props or axles start rumbling if they are getting worn as you are changing how they work and worn into. i have lifted a defender 4inches with just new spring bottom plates i made, and dropped the standard shocks , even at this everything else was fine, however, i didnot use it offroad like a lot of youlot do and that makes quite a difference as nothing is really getting stressed that much on road compared to the power or torque going through the components when off roading.
